Tenant Damage and Default

Dependant on the options you have chosen, the cover is provided in the policy for damage by tenants not noted on the Ingoing Property Condition Report and provides financial protection if the tenant breaches their lease agreement and fails to pay rent.

The policy requires the owner/agent to take all reasonable steps to minimise the loss or damage incurred and your claim settlement may be reduced if you or your agent fail to issue and/or act on breach notices as provided under the relevant Residential Tenancies Act applicable to your State or Territory.

If the damage is extensive, please contact our team immediately, as we may need to appoint an assessor.
